I was surprised to see this Snowy Egret fishing in these rocks because it doesn’t blend in with it’s environment at all. Maybe some fish will be fooled, but I don’t think any of us are!

That’s one of the reasons that I love Snowys. They stand out so beautifully against any background (unlike lots of little brown birds in this area).
