The Anna’s around me are normally larger than this one. I don’t know if they are normally puffed up more to intimidate other birds or if they are just better at finding food than this one. She seems so delicate.

Never knew there was such a bird as an Anna’s hummingbird – how lovely. She does look very delicate and tiny.

They are amazing creatures! So feisty. I saw one yesterday attack a Mourning Dove and scare it off. They will also dive at your head or fly up and chirp in your face to protect their feeders. They spend more time fighting off each other than they ever spend eating at a feeder. They are super fun to watch.
