Now that my kangaroo paws have grown to epic heights (over 6 feet tall) the hummingbirds are loving hanging out in them. Now, the ‘paw’ flowers are opening up and it’s becoming a feeding frenzy. The plants are guarded constantly and fought over all the time. So many of the birds are conflicted about whether to guard their normal feeder or the kangaroo paws. It’s been highly entertaining.
