A whimbrel hanging out in the washed up seaweed on shore. They harvest the seaweed off shore a few times a year and the little pieces wash up on shore. The city waits for the seaweed to finish washing up on shore and then they remove it. The birds LOVE it because it’s super gross and therefore is full of bugs. It makes birding on the beach super easy.
